Franklin and Leipers Fork
Franklin is the County Seat for Williamson County and was an important part of the American Civil War with the Battle of Franklin, one of the bloodiest Civil War battles that occurred on November 30, 1864. Much of the rich history of the area remains in and around Franklin including Historic Downtown Franklin and the Quaint Downtown “Square”, featuring Main Street with the original buildings that house shops, restaurants, and the spectacular Franklin Theatre. Housing options abound in many areas of Franklin and are in very High Demand.
Leipers Fork is more like a “throwback” in time! A quaint and very popular upscale area just down the road from Downtown Franklin, Leipers Fork offers “country “ living lifestyle with picturesque farmland, gorgeous open spaces, and scenic creeks and streams that meander through the hills and valleys. The Natchez Trace Parkway, declared a National Scenic Byway and All American road was chosen as one of America’s 10 best Biking Roads, and passes through the Leipers Fork community.
